Tuesday April 16th
I woke up today with the news of the bombing at the Boston Marathon. My thoughts and prayers go out to all that were and are affected by this senseless act. I have friends in Boston, from Boston, and that went to school in Boston. I have not heard any word from any of them about something bad happening to anyone they know.
School was good today. There were 2 people from the main office observing. I got observed 2 times. They were not observing to check us, they are looking at updating the teaching material. They want to see how we teach, what works and what doesn't. It all seemed to go pretty well. Nothing big seemed to happen in any of my classes. We did art with my Kindy kids, which could have been a disaster (we were working with paint) but luckily we all got out without big blotches of paint all over our clothes. There were several close calls though.
After work Rob, old Sam, Sarah and I went to Emart. Rob and I got Pizzas for dinner, and we got several beers a piece to go with the pizza. Sarah bought coffee stuff. By the time we got home... our pizzas were cold (and unfortunately I still do not have a microwave).
I ate almost all of the cold pizza. I drank 2 beers. I was only going to drink one... but the pizza was large. I watched an episode of The West Wing and then watched Mr. Smith goes to Washington. Not at all what I was planning on doing tonight, but I felt good about doing it.
We have a field trip tomorrow... It is going to some museum. Hopefully will be a fun and interesting day.
This weekend I may be doing another reading for the Cartoon Network over here.
